Terms & Ground Rules
Rules, cancellation policies, and safety agreements governing reservations and attendance at JOJO Canine Sensory Playground, Nagpur.
1. The Experience & Capacity Caps
JOJO is India’s first canine sensory architecture wellness facility. Every session is structured as a 60-minute experience across 1,000 sq. ft. of enriched sensory turf, limited strictly to a maximum of 6 dogs under the supervision of 2 certified trainers (a strict 2:6 ratio).
Sessions are capped strictly at 6 dogs to ensure zero overstimulation, personalized behavioral reading, and unhindered access to all sensory stations (A-frame bridges, scent trails, tug and twist toys, digging pit, chase the ball, and ring swings).
2. Mixed Play Sessions & Temperament Cohort Balancing
Male and female dogs can play together in our curated group sessions. To maintain emotional calm and prevent over-arousal:
- Sessions are capped at a strict maximum of 6 dogs, actively supervised by 2 certified trainers (a 2:6 ratio).
- Handlers monitor play styles, energy levels, and social dynamics continuously throughout the 60-minute experience.
- Heat Cycle Exclusion: Female dogs currently in active estrus/heat, or within 21 days of concluding a heat cycle, are strictly prohibited from the grounds to preserve pack calm and prevent reproductive tension. If a female in heat is presented at the gate, entry will be refused with session rescheduling.
3. Mandatory 15-Minute Early Arrival & Vet Triage
Pet parents must arrive at the facility exactly 15 minutes prior to the scheduled session start time.
This 15-minute window is dedicated to our on-site clinical veterinary triage: inspecting paws, checking resting vitals, verifying digital or physical vaccination/fitness certificates, and ensuring your dog is calm and hydrated before stepping onto the sensory turf. Late arrivals compromise group entry and may forfeit session time without extension.
4. Booking, Payment & Rates
The standard session rate is ₹800 per dog for a 60-minute session. Payment is settled at the gate prior to field entry via UPI or cash.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Because each slot is capped at just 6 dogs for group safety and individualized attention, late cancellations directly affect slot availability:
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before session start: 100% free cancellation or unlimited free rescheduling to any future eligible slot.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of session start: Subject to a ₹400 late-cancellation fee or deduction, as short-notice vacancies cannot easily be refilled given our intimate 6-dog safety cap.
6. Leashes, Collars & Transition Protocol
- Leash Requirement: All dogs must remain on a standard 4-to-6 foot fixed flat leash until safely transitioned through the double-airlock gate system.
- Prohibited Equipment: Retractable (flexi) leashes, choke chains, prong collars, and electronic shock collars are strictly banned inside the facility. Flat buckle collars or Y-shaped front/back clip harnesses are required.
- Airlock Double-Gate: Handlers will guide one dog at a time through the sound-dampened airlock where leashes are detached under trainer supervision.
7. Canine Health & Vaccination Warranty
By bringing a dog to JOJO, the pet parent legally warrants that:
- The dog is current on mandatory Rabies (ARV) and core DHPP / DAPPL vaccinations administered by a licensed veterinary practitioner.
- The dog is free from active ticks, fleas, mites, mange, kennel cough (Bordetella), vomiting, diarrhea, or any contagious infection for at least 14 days prior to attendance.
- The dog is on active veterinary-approved anti-tick/flea preventative treatment.
8. Behavioral Standards & Decompression Discretion
JOJO is a sensory decompression space, not a high-intensity combat arena. Dogs displaying sustained aggressive posturing, unprovoked lunging, resource guarding, or acute distress will be calmly redirected by our certified trainers.
Our certified trainers retain absolute operational authority to escort any dog to our dedicated quiet recovery zone if group harmony cannot be maintained safely.
9. Limitation of Liability
While JOJO implements strict supervision ratios (2:6) and medical triage, canine interactions inherently involve natural physical movement and unexpected biological responses. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, JOJO Playground and its personnel shall not be held liable for incidental injury, minor abrasions, or unforeseen interactions occurring during off-leash sensory exercise, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
